Ricky Opaterny previously worked for Google, where he managed projects related to advertiser retention and ran the company’s online series of talks and lectures, Authors@Google, which reached over five million viewers during his time at the company. He also launched Google’s initiative to provide free advertising and education in online marketing to businesses in the developing world. He received a BA in American Literature from UC Berkeley, and is currently an MBA candidate and InSITE Fellow at New York University. He dabbles in saving independent bookstores and taking photos.
